PRESENT TENSE Art Exhibition | 2–5 October 2026

Reserve a designated floor space for your own display table, stand or bespoke display base at PRESENT TENSE, Espacio Gallery, London.

This booking is for the Lower Ground Floor and covers the exhibition space allocation and participation fee only. It does not include a table, plinth or display base supplied by the gallery. You must bring, install and remove your own display structure and artwork.

Display Size and Location

Each display structure must be compact and must not exceed 60 × 60 cm. Before booking, please email the curatorial team the exact width × depth × height of your proposed structure and a photograph of it.

If your display is larger than 60 × 60 cm, please contact the gallery before booking. We can discuss the dimensions and see whether a suitable arrangement is possible. Larger displays require the gallery’s prior written approval and cannot be guaranteed.

The final position of your display will be decided by the curator during installation, once the artworks have been placed. We will do our best to find a suitable location, but a particular position cannot be guaranteed.

All displays must be freestanding, stable, safe for visitors and professionally presented. If the structure brought to the gallery is unsuitable, unstable, unsafe or not as shown in the photograph, it may not be used.

Why exhibit at Espacio Gallery?

Espacio Gallery offers artists the opportunity to present their work in a professional contemporary art space in Shoreditch, London, as part of a curated group exhibition. Exhibiting is about visibility, connection and becoming part of an active international artistic community.

What am I paying for when I book a wall or space?

You are paying exclusively for the use of a specific wall or exhibition space to display your artwork for five public exhibition days, plus one installation day and one takedown day, totalling seven days of access. No additional services are included.

Does Espacio Gallery take commission on sales?

No. Artists who book a wall do not pay commission on sales and manage their own transactions. Commission applies only if the gallery is asked to manage sales on the artist’s behalf.

Who installs, delivers and collects my artwork?

Each artist is responsible for delivering, installing, uninstalling and collecting their own artworks, following the gallery guidelines.

Are payments refundable if I cannot participate?

No. All payments are non refundable. Transfers to future exhibitions may only be considered if the gallery is notified well in advance and the wall can be rebooked.

Do I need to apply and be approved before paying?

Yes. Payment is only valid for artists who have applied and received official approval from Espacio Gallery. Payments made without approval are non refundable and do not guarantee participation.

Is there any guarantee that my artwork will sell?

No. Art sales cannot be guaranteed. Exhibiting creates visibility, connections and long term opportunities, allowing your work to find its audience over time.

Is my artwork insured by the gallery?

No. Due to the continuous rotation of exhibitions, Espacio Gallery does not insure artworks. Each artist is responsible for arranging their own insurance.
